David P. O達rien is President of Oswald Companies. He has been serving the risk management community for over 15 years. An exceptionally skilled and experienced broker, Mr. O達rien began his career at Johnson & Higgins. After the merger between Marsh & McLennan and Johnson & Higgins he was promoted to manage the Kentucky office. Under his direction, the Kentucky office achieved the recognition of being one of the fastest growing Marsh offices in the country.
Prior to joining Oswald Companies in August 2000, Mr. O達rien was responsible for managing Marsh, Inc.痴 Kentucky office and was the regional sales manager for the Great Lakes region. Prior to his move to Louisville, he was the manager of the Casualty Department and sales manager for the Cleveland office of Johnson & Higgins.

Frequent speaker on numerous risk management concepts, including the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc (RIMS), the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers (ASHRM), and the Kentucky Society of CPAs.
Instructed risk management and professional designation courses for the Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and ASHRM.

Mr. O達rien is a graduate of Bowling Green State University having earned his bachelor痴 degree with a double major in finance and risk management/insurance. He holds designations in Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Dave also serves on the boards of the Cleveland Zoological Society, the Center for Families & Children and Economics America.
